Attracting investment

Promotion of investments and locations ready for investment by potential investors, as well as general promotion of Istrian County as a desirable investment destination, is one of the regular activities of the Istrian Development Agency. The goal is to attract and direct possible foreign and domestic investors and to provide concrete support on the ground with the aim of realizing investments as efficiently as possible through the provision of support for investment projects, according to the "one-stop-shop" service model. The primary goal of this activities is to attract quality investors to Istria County, who create added value and employ, thus generating economic growth.

IDA's activities:

  • general promotion of the investment destination
  • bringing investors into direct contact with locations intended for investment
  • cooperation and networking with all relevant institutions at the regional and national level
  • provision of consolidated information on all types of investment support by state, regional and local institutions
  • connecting the SME sector to provide services to the investor
  • assistance in creating a supply chain for the investor.
