The Development Plan of the County of Istria for the period from 2022 to 2027 is a fundamental medium-term strategic planning act, which is adopted for the purpose of defining special goals for the implementation of long-term strategic planning acts, the National Development Strategy until 2030, and sectoral and multi-sectoral strategies.
It is aimed at defining the basic starting points for further balanced development of the County of Istria, based on the sustainable and efficient use of available resources, in accordance with the principle of partnership and cooperation and other fundamental principles of regional development policy, and in accordance with the provisions of the Act on the System of Strategic Planning and Development Management of the Republic of Croatia ("Narodne novine", number 123/17) and the Law on Regional Development of the Republic of Croatia ("Narodne novine", number 147/14, 123/17 and 118/18).
